As for the supercups, if you're running cats then they shouldn't be that loud.

With that being said, note to yourself that I was running with a full muffler/cat bypass for a few months and only changed it because my neighbors complained when I started my car.

I'm running them with test pipes and wish they were a bit louder, but maybe I'm a bit more extreme than most people

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys, I'm throwing this exhaust on Ebay and figured I would give you guys a heads up. Make me an offer, and I'll give Rennlisters a better deal so make sure you make that note if you submit a "best offer." I'm asking $1000 obo

Btw, the only reason I'm selling this is because I switched to a Fabspeed Supercup (I'm hardcore lol). Let me know if you have any questions......
Well, technically I guess it's just the 2 mufflers as shown in the pics, and they are FULL titanium. I've always referred to this part of our car as the "exhaust." Sorry for the confusion.....
No worries. When I first read it, I thought you meant headers and cats too. I did check out the link and see that it was mufflers.
How loud are they compared to the Supercups?
Not nearly as loud. The Supercups are basically muffler bypass pipes with 2 little resonators welded on, whereas the JIC is a full on muffler system. The sound from the JIC is much more refined than the Supercups, but just a tad bit quiet for my taste. With that being said, note to yourself that I was running with a full muffler/cat bypass for a few months and only changed it because my neighbors complained when I started my car. I like it LOUD. The JIC mufflers without cats was still too quiet for my standards, with cats you should be more than okay if you don't want something that draws too much attention. They have zero drone in the 2.5k-3.5k rpm zone and have a nice higher pitched sound. Not like a Tubi obviously, but better than the sound of most lower priced exhausts for our car.
On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the loudest, I'd rate the JIC at a 4, OEM (Non-PSM) at a 1, the Supercups at a 7.5, and a full muffler/cat bypass at a 10.
Yup, I wasn't kidding when I said I was going to give a fellow Rennlister a deal!
Each canister weights about 11 lbs; so they're pretty light for a full size muffler......
They're maybe 1-2 Lbs lighter than the JIC TI mufflers. The JIC are full size, but the TI construction makes them surprisingly light. If weight is the primary consideration however, I would just go with the supercups.....
No problem..... The JIC full TI exhausts are not in production anymore, and was a very very limited item. You can buy them in SS, but for the price/weight you have tons of better options then..... As for the supercups, if you're running cats then they shouldn't be that loud. I'm running them with test pipes and wish they were a bit louder, but maybe I'm a bit more extreme than most people
