Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've had no problems however decided to have some preventive maintenance done for peace of mind so had the IMSB replaced with the LN bearing, and while they were in there had the clutch replaced along with the RMS, water pump & thermostat, AOS and 60k maintenance.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Been hanging around the this forum for while an finally decided to introduce myself and post some pics of my car. It's a '99 C2 Artic Silver 6sp with 62,000 miles. I've had no problems however decided to have some preventive maintenance done for peace of mind so had the IMSB replaced with the LN bearing, and while they were in there had the clutch replaced along with the RMS, water pump & thermostat, AOS and 60k maintenance. I wasn't having any clutch problems but when I got it back I was amazed at how much smoother it was to engage. We live in southern Alabama so decided to make the 5 hour drive up to Cleveland, GA to have the work done by Flat 6. Beautiful part of the state near the Tennessee border with some great roads through the mountains. I had a '77 911S years ago and sold it when kids came along and wanted to get back into a 911 for while now. Found this one in Montgomery, AL and as my wife is also a Porsche fan it didn't take any convincing to buy it. It's not a daily driver but gets exercised most every week.
