What are the cam readings according to durametric? If the heads were off, just marking and setting to previous marks could make the cam timing off. OEM head gaskets Never fail so there is a excellent chance you have not addressed the actual cause. Was the heads & cylinders checked for cracks? Search the forum for more info!

Dude, these engaines don't blow head gaskets.. Never once ever have wee seen it. You had a cracked head, or cracked cylinder and I hope you evaluated it super closely before it went back together. I bet its going to come back to haunt you. Explain your cam timing regimen. Did you use any special tools?
