Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Obviously there is a fault somewhere. Is there a way for me to clear this myself?

POST 2Original post

A little more info please... model year, model and miles? any 3rd party electronics? any change if you wiggle the key in the ignition switch?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the reply. It's a 2000 C2, 42K miles. I have a Sirius unit installed over a year ago. That's about it. The first time I drove it after changing the battery, there were no issues. The issue came afterwards. Wiggling doesn't seem to fix...

POST 4Original post

Try a reset - disconnect the battery for 5 minutes (got your radio code). Then reconnect it and see if anything changes. You are connecting positive to + and negative to - right?

POST 5Original post

make sure youe battery termianls are tight. other wise you need to get your alternator checked

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'll go ahead and reset them. The car starts up and runs fine, so I think it's just some fault somewhere.
