I don't think it's Maritime Blue at all. Maritime Blue is significantly darker than Riviera Blue. Here's an RS closeup.

And here's a 993GT2 in Riviera Blue parked next to a 964RS in Maritime Blue. I'm 100% sure the new RS is Riviera Blue.

dangnabit. I should have gotten my C4s painted Riviera Blue instead of Speed Yellow. I was all hot about the Bugatti Blue, which is pretty close, but Porsche's 6 month lead time jump from 2 months killed that idea. Oh well.

Gents, thanks for the top info Just one final question is Riviera Blue a flat colour? (I appreciate it will have a coat of laquer, all modern paint finishes do, but is a Flat paint?)

Parf7: Yes, Riviera Blue is flat as opposed to a metallic finish but it should have the glossy clear you expect. I think all Porsche paints, even the "special" colors, are now water based instead of laquer though.
