Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Isn't it amazing how well engineered these Porsches are as long as you replace the suspension, tires, clutch, engine, seats, etc?

We should meet together including "washington dc porsche" to compare set-ups.

I'm thinking of just getting the ROW whatever suspension they use on the european version of the 911.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After being stuck in Seattle, the land of 993's, for a week it felt good to be home in my Cabrio with 60 degree weather this weekend.
I'm still trying to get used to the new NEOVA tires, GHL, and tranny work(under warranty, thankfully!). My next stop is the suspension. I'm getting tired of the floatiness at high speeds, it's embarrasing.
I even engaged in a speed contest with a GTO 5.7. Those things are fast but not fast enough.
It was in the 70s here all weekend....just the right kind of weather for an afternoon drive. Saturday was my first drive with the local Porsche club....my car was so happy it even wagged it's tail while trying to keep up with a 997C4S. It's time to upgrade my suspension also. Any thoughts on coilovers vs separate coils and shocks? I need to keep it civilized for the street but I am looking forward to a few open track days this summer.
Sunday, my wife and I got to enjoy tops down weather in her SL600...not as much fun as the 996, but pretty close.
I bet it felt good to smoke the GTO....now if we could just smoke those pesky Z06 Vettes.
I'm thinking of just getting the ROW whatever suspension they use on the european version of the 911. I don't want to have the stiff Eibach ride this time around.
why not go with the ROW with HR springs? it gives it a nice drop as well...... i'm thinking of the JIC....... is this the same as CROSS? i wanted to go with the PSS9..... but someone offered me the JIC for a deal i just can't pass up.....
I thought the ROW came with it's own set of Springs as well? One can get the ROW Struts a-la-cart?
H&R's have always been a smooth ride with just enough spring rate to keep you tight in the corners.
DC, I'll try. There is a used set of the M030 springs & shocks on e-bay right now with 4 hours left. They have 1,000 miles on them and do not include the sway bars. They are off a 2003, so I can't use them. They are at $100 plus $70 shiiping.....no reserve. They are a great deal at that price if yours is a 03.
Isn't it amazing how well engineered these Porsches are as long as you replace the suspension, tires, clutch, engine, seats, etc? And how great they look as long as you add tons of aftermarket body parts, wheels, and interior pieces?
It's hard to improve on perfection, huh! I fear that there are those of us who would modify anything....no matter what it is. Check out the cover of this month's 911 & Porsche World (Gemballa GT Mirage). Even the Carrera GT can be improved upon (or at least personalized).
I have Eibach springs which lower about 1.5'. Porduces too much camber. installed and have inside tread wear. Installed Agency Power Rear Adj. Control Arms to fix problem. Need to do front also, not sure if camber can be set, but i get vibrations in the steering from road bumps.

Chris, how do you like the Eibach springs in terms of handling improvement compared to stock? I assume you kept your stock shocks. I've H&R springs only and like it! Went to the track last weekend and felt a big improvement over stock under had driving (did only spin once
).
I'll get my GHL exhaust installed in the next 2 weeks. We should meet together including "washington dc porsche" to compare set-ups.
Count me in too. I've got x74 and GHLs on my 03 Cab. Love both of them (except x74 in DC sometimes).
Where is it snowing in Jersey? I'm driving to AC tonight.
