Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Depends what you're asking, but there is no current Turbo Cab. However, it's one of those models that begs the question of "what did you expect it to look like?".
02
my .02 cents...
I guess I would expect it to retain something, somewhere, of the look of 40 years of tradition, in at least some respect...
Personally?...I believe the black colored one bears more resemblence to a Boxster rather than a 911, or 997.
911...993...996...997...all of these models you could still see the 911 heritage in the shape of their design. All of these cars can be called "911's" , if for no other reason than they still beared some resemblence each of it's predecesors. This is the first Porsche 911 decendent that, for me anyway, bears so little resemblence to it's leanage (sp?) that it can no longer be called a 911.
That's not to say it's not a great car, Porsche has always found a way to improve on perfection with every new 911 model it's ever introduced, and I'm sure the '08 will be the same improvement over earier cars. But, with this car, I think it's the first model that we can safely say that the "911" era is officially over
, replaced with a newer, better model...
Is the '08 still called a 997, or will it be a different designation (998?)?
Thanks
Dave
What I originally meant with my comment was that no one expected anything different to be done for the Cabriolet model other than hacking off the top and putting a folding cloth roof on it.
So, in that sense, the spy shots really aren't any surprise in terms of what the car looks like. It's a 911 Turbo with a cab top.
More interesting will be the final production look of their 4-door sedan/coupe that they're launching.
...and I expect that to look like a stretched 911 with 4 doors.
There's a photo on Wikipedia of a concept they did in the '80s that I'm expecting to be pretty close to the new model, only updated for the 997/998 body style.
