Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The heater in my 99 doesn't seem to blow very hot even when I turn the temp all the way up. It is lukewarm at best. How can I fix this? Would like to do it myself. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Have you noticed any foam blowing out of the vents? It is not uncommon to have the foam seals around the air diverter flappers decompose resulting in a poor seal, ambient air leakage and poor climate control performance.

I have seen foam from time to time but I wouldn't say it's a lot. I have only had the car since January of this year so who knows what happened before me. Is that an easy fix? I am guessing that the dash has to come out to fix that?

POST 4Original post

Have seen a fair amount of foam but heating is pretty effective still. Biggest question is whether it can be replaced Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

POST 5Original post

There is a DIY fix for replacing the foam seal from the frunk after pulling the battery. I can't remember where I saw it. It was pretty complete with pics etc. some info here. The bearing they are referencing is in a little "tower" a the top of the flap axle. http://pedrosboard.com/read.php?7,12573,13020 Found it http://www.renntech.org/forums/tutor...the-procedure/ If you are not a member of Renntech join, it is well worth it for the TSB, manuals, DIY (like this one) etc...
