Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm trying to find an opportunity to test a C4S or Turbo on local roads, because I'm afraid the ride quality won't work here. I'm sure I'll eventually have a chance to try one of them. So I'm hoping the ride quality is exactly the same and I won't have to wait for a chance to try the other one. Anyone have enough experience with the two to confirm whether the ride quality is basically the same? And if not, which is worse, in what situations, and how much?) Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Where is here? The C4S and Turbo share the same suspension....but I think Dennis C is right that they are slightly different. Did not read the other thread until now. I thought your question was answered fairly well on that thread.

POST 3Original post

The suspension between the two is essential the same, with minor tuning differences to account for the weight differences between the two models (Turbo is heavier). So the ride is the same. Road quality sucks in Toronto, and while you feel every ripple in the road, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the car for the last 7 years...as long as you remember that it's a sports car and not a Lincoln Town Car.

I thought it was fairly well answered too, but to be sure I wasn't missing anything, I thought I might try a new post since the original was about C4 vs C4S AWD, and my question was about C4S and Turbo ride quality. I figured Turbo owners might ignore the other thread. Turns out I needn't have worried - Ahmet posted a very interesting post saying his turbo had much worse low speed ride than his C4S.
