Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have any experience with these? Opinions?... its an OEM part * 996-331-127-90 * 996-331-128-90

POST 3Original post

Interesting. Does the GT3 RS or Cup come with these?

POST 4Original post

I think only the GT2. Would have to check PET. We really don't need these BTW The front brakes do all the work particularly in a track environment.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yeah... thought so, considering 80% of the stopping power comes from the front brakes...

POST 6Original post

Yeah, I saw those. I'm going to get a set before I go out on the track again. I usually leave the traction control on on the track ( I know, call me featherfoot but I'll blame it on the tires that the TC comes on at 100MPH at Pacific Raceway) which cooks the rear brakes pretty good. I usually have to bleed the rear brakes between sessions and what do you know, only the inside of the rear calipers has bubbles coming out. These ducts should hopefully solve the problem. $68 each at Sunset.

POST 7Original post

Standard parts on 996 GT2 and 996 GT3. At an MSRP of $80 each - In a 996 I doubt your rear brakes get hot enough to need these (IMHO).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
