Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When you put the sport seats in, were there any gotchas or alarms you had to reconcile, by not connecting all the power? Are the 996 sport seats with just the power seat back controls plug 'n play with MY 2000 comfort full power memory seat cars? I have the sport seats here already and just need to swap them out and I am looking for planning advice. I know to disconnect the battery first to avoid the air bag alarm, anything else I need to be aware of? A related question, will the durametric software clear any alarms you might inadvertently cause when swapping out seats, assuming there are any?
