I just installed the Gemballa 993 Style hood.....trust me spend the extra money, fit and finish are great, and there was very little prep work............pay them now or pay them later....

Run longitudinally will fit nicely in the 993 scoop groves

Suggestion
I did have clear mask applied to the whole hood and it works out nice that the seams running longitudinally will fit nicely in the 993 scoop groves.

the Gemballa style [not the flat panel ],it looks great but don't like the price.

talk to TRG/Getty design. their prices are dirt cheap. ur gonna need 2 spend about 200 bucks in prep work and install tho. but ur still less than half the price of a gemballa hood.

Hey bullbear, the TT is still there for sale, it will go soon tis the season, the person whom aowned the car had kept the stock hood and bumber..I wouldnt take no for an anwser i wanted those pieces and i knew they would rather sell the car stock.............and thanks
Soon guys i am still waiting on the front grills, for the new bumper cover, and the Techart III wing is back orderd....i cant wait to post them....this means it will be done!!!
I have the Gemballa hood with the 993-like intake and love it. If your going to get the lightweight hood my feeling is to enhance and customize the car. I did have clear mask applied to the whole hood and it works out nice that the seams running longitudinally will fit nicely in the 993 scoop groves. I found that other than the front bumper the hood catches the most road chips and now that is not an issue. Also aftermarket paint just chips easier. There was a fittment problem and shims had to be placed under the front fender on one side to get a better match from inside the front trunk. Also the hood comes with lighter struts due to the lighter weight. The hood was 2000 two years ago but I think it is about 2200 now. FVD has cheaper hoods but without the scoop. Will
