This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fianlly got the winters off and got to see the car with the new wheels. Also picked up my clear side lights from Suncoast Porsche off Ebay.

POST 3Original post

Very nice! Did u get the wheels from the dealer or did you find a good deal somewhere else. I have been thinking about getting new wheels and the GT3 wheels are definitely on the list. If I do, I will use the 18" lt. Wt. for track only.

POST 4Original post

The wheels look great! You know, there are not many things I can think of that look better than the profile view of a 996.

POST 5Original post

Looks great. How easy is it to install the clear side markers? How much time does it take?

POST 6Original post

No tools, less than 5 minutes. I did mine in the parking garage at work as soon as I got them.

POST 7Original post

You pop out the old side markers with your hands just pull 'em from inside the fender lip. Remove wires from light and snap new ones in. Couldn't be any easier.

POST 8Original post

Great look!!! Looked at your old posts, and couldn't find the answer. Are those the true GT3 wheels? What size tires? Any rubbibing problems? Thanks!!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

they are the stock GT3 wheels 18 * 11 ; the cheaper way to do it is order these stock and get the 18* 10 Turbo wheels from Porsche for winter. if you do it in the reverese they hose you.(even more) With my M3 i had the stock summer wheels which were a beautiful set imo; for winter i had OEM BMW wheels, but they were ugly. Swore i would never go through the winters up here with wheels that only made me think of the summer version of what "could be". The Turbo wheel is not my favourite, but it is dam good looking for the winter!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i didn't even remove the wire harness - i just switched the bulbs and popped in the new clear sides. Winter is hard - the metal spring parts were already corroding - 1 winter. i think i will have to take various pieces apart each spring and properly clean them every year to offset winter.
