Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The front tires are right at the minimum recommended for snow (6/32") but the rears are below and should be replaced if you want to use for snow.

In all honesty if I had kept the car I would have probably replaced both the fronts and rears just to make sure I had the maximum snow capability, but if someone wants to save a few bucks, the fronts should make it through one more winter.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have my 996 OEM 17" rims with winter tires from my just traded 996 listed in the classifieds. Just got asked by a prospective buyer if they would fit a 1986 951 and if so what spacers would be needed. I figure someone from here may have an idea. I surely don't.
If anyone on here is interested, please check the ad. If need be, I can probably help with delivery anywhere in the NY metropolitan area or anywhere as far south as the Maryland suburbs of DC. Since the Porsche got traded on a Jeep, I have some hauling power.
Since no one answered here, I called Wheel Enhancement and they told me the rims would fit with spacers.
I still have the wheels though. Hopefully someone wants them soon.
Yes, they are still available. The price is still as listed in the ad ($800), but I am open to reasonable offers, especially from Rennlist members. I have a long business trip in November and would like them gone before I leave.
By the way, that is a really interesting avatar. Would love to see the full video where it came from.
There is a picture on the ad in the classified section. I also have additional pictures of each wheel individually available on request.
