Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

43 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took delivery today of my first Porsche. I'm the proud new owner of the following 2004 996 C4S, Carrara White over Black. This is my first Porsche and words cannot express how excited I am. A 996 C4S was the first Porsche I had an opportunity to see up close a few years ago as a passenger, and I was just amazed at the power, handling, looks, and the sound. Just got back from taking the Wife for a spin and she loves to too, so I'm set there. LINK to Specs & All Pics

POST 2Original post

Wow that is beautiful! Its really came nicely done -- PSE, cross-stitched seats, white gauges, white trim painted... very very nice. I just autocrossed my 4S for the first time last month - what a blast! You have many good times ahead. Welcome and enjoy.

POST 10Original post

Holy Cow ... White looks amazing. What a fine example

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I learned just before leaving the dealership the painted rockers and front chin spoiler weren't stock; I have to say I really like them painted White also.

POST 13Original post

Welcome aboard! I too love the all white look. Your lower rocker panels and front lip and painted white, which really looks amazing. Some great options. Enjoy. Drive safe, J

POST 14Original post

POST 20Original post

Nice Carrara white. Congrats and welcome to rennlist.

POST 21Original post

Lovely indeed. I love white p-cars. She looks great! You'll love her. Just one question....So, how many times do you go out to the garage and just look at it sitting there? Ha! Don't even act like you don't...

POST 22Original post

Welcome aboard! Great looking car! I got here myself just about a week before you did and you'll love this place. As warned, I got addicted to the site. Lots of information floating around here along along with ample amounts of humor and fellowship. Congrats! POST 25Original post

Congrats and Welcome to Rennlist! Great looking car! I love the painted lower portion of the side skirts and spoiler lip. I'm Tim.... uhmmm.... scratch the ***-hole part! Again, welcome!

POST 26Original post

POST 32Original post

Excellent choice. It would look great beside my black 02 C4S. Welcome to the funny farm.

POST 33Original post

What a coinkidink, I bought my first Porsche, a 2004 Atlas Gray C4S last night! White or Speed Yellow was my preferred color, but this one was local and available. I even used it to propose to my g/f last night! Unfortunately, no pics yet, I had to take it back to the dealer to get it CPOd. Hopefully, it'll be ready tomorrow. ///Michael

WOW - Lots of new blood.... hurry with the pictures....AND Did she answer you? (girlfriend, not the car) WTG !

POST 35Original post

Congrats. Wow, three new 4S'ers in one week. Joe Cortney Dallas, TX

POST 36Original post

Yep, she said YES! She's said yes the past 10 years, but I never asked the question until last night. And it almost didn't happen last night because the finance guy had left for the day. But after I showed my salesperson the ring, his draw just dropped and he said I had to drive it home for the night. So when I got home, she had no idea that I traded in my M3 for the 911; when she saw it, she could only say "you didn't" over and over and slap my arm until it was blue. After the dust settled, I told her to hop in for a ride. I asked her to open the glove box to get my Valentine-1 out, but instead she found the ring box. And, the rest, as they say, is history. I had to drop it off this morning to finish the paperwork and get it CPOd. It's been 12 hours and I miss it already. ///Michael

It's home it's home it's home it's home!!! But it's raining in my neck of the woods so no great pics yet. Just a couple that I took on my camera phone. Out with the old and in with the new. I bought the M3 from Park Place 4 years ago, and now it has returned home. I miss my M3, but I love the C4S more: New 2009 C4S just off the truck. My salesguy for both transactions (M3 and C4S), Kal Farris, on the right. Gawd, I love the junk in the trunk: Just got home in the nick of time before it came down heavy: Phil, it has 15k miles and black interior.
