Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

can someone tell me where i would find directions on how to remove the c.d. storage tray from the console below the radio in my 996? my car is currently configured with the c.d. storage trays and a blank recessed tray to store things. can i replace the c.d. storage with another blank?

POST 3Original post

Wow... And an answers too: The CD unit just pulls out. It helps if you can push down on the top and up on the bottom at the same time. Sort of pinch it a little, squeeze a bit. It may be easier to remove the CD unit if you remove the empty compartment unit first as it is a bit more flexible. Additional compartments are available at your dealer. Forgive my messy car... ignore 'stuff' in the two compartments... here is a pair in custom painted arctic silver:

POST 5Original post

Thank you. I imagine you are refring to the smarttire sensor that gives me a digital readout (and various alarms) of the air pressure in each of the tires. A nifty little device.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
