Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I use a Pelican cover which I shake and inspect to make there's no foreign objects(leaves, dirt etc) lodged underneath it.It is a very snug fit,but it hasn't scratched the paint at all.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was just wondering if the majority of you guys cover your car whenever it is not being driven. I park my vehicle in the garage all the time when it is not driven and I find that I get alot of dust on the car. The fact that it is black doesn't really help much either. At the same time, however, I am worried about the car cover somehow scratching the vehicle when I put it on. Kunudrom ! I have a Porsche car cover which fits like a glove. Cheers and safe driving.

POST 2Original post

I use an all cotton one, since the car is in the garage anyway. Main purpose is to keep the dust off, though the producers claim that it can protect the finish from bikes, etc. No moisture can collect under the cover, since it's all breathable cotton.

POST 3Original post

I only use the cover when the car is stored for the winter... but then my car is AS.

POST 4Original post

I use a Pelican cover which I shake and inspect to make there's no foreign objects(leaves, dirt etc) lodged underneath it.It is a very snug fit,but it hasn't scratched the paint at all.

POST 5Original post

I use the cover year round...though you do a lot of washing cause you should not put a tight cover on a dirty car. I wash her then put the cover on...nothing like pulling the cover off a week or so later on a sunny day to find and drive a beautifully clean car!!!
