Came back from an AutoX I did last week end. Loads of fun. Noticed the ContiSport Contact 2 did not stand heat well as they started to "vulcanise" on the outer edges. Not good. But I seem to recall they had some decent tread left with around 12.000 miles on them. Now they are shot! Can 15-20 mns of hard track driving "kill them" totally. I had P-0 assimetrico on my 993 S and they would "resist" muche more. The car was re-aligned a few weeks ago. Bad alignment? Tires get worn out quicker when close to end of life? Contis are just dreadful track and autoX tires?
