Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have an opportunity to buy a 2000 Millennium Edition, excellent condition, with 30,000 miles, for $47,000 (original list $90,000). That's about the price of a normal C-4 so all the extra stuff comes free. However, I have only seen pictures so far. The Violet Chromaflair paint looks good in pictures but I've seen comments on this site suggesting that it looks funky or even ugly instead of "special" as Porsche intended. What do you think about this car?

POST 3Original post

You really need to see the car in person to decide if you want a car that changes color from purple to green depending on what angle you've viewing it from.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm seeing the car Friday. I've assumed that the car looks basically black and has only subtle hue changes. Sounds like maybe I'm wrong. Any comments from others about whether thay have seen the car and, if so, whether they liked it or disliked it?

POST 5Original post

I looked at one a few months ago. All in all, it looked ok to me, and it sounded great with the PSE. Steve

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Steve, What is the "PSE" and what does it do? Thanks

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw the car today and it was very nice. It was overcast, so there was not enough light to bring out all the color, but I had the impression that it would not be obnoxious under any circumstance. At night it would look black. The rear wheel rims were scuffed plus some chipping in the chrome plating. The interior looked very nice, but not new. May be able to clean up to new. I'm not buying it because I went with a 993TT instead. However, I think the seller would accept $45,000 for a quick cash offer. Let me know if you want me to put you in contact with him. That strives me as a very good price for a fully-loaded 2000 C-4 with 30k miles.
