Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Last time I checked "Nice job means just that "as a compliment"?

Funny, I asked one installer if she had done a 996 bumper, and she said that was her final test for her graduation from the course!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Saturday I finally put on the clear bra I got from Invisiblemask. Pre cut short hood, fender corners and headlights. Nice product, easy to work with and they give you all the tools and a how to DVD.
Did not do the bumper because it has too many chips already, but will maybe paint and cover next year.
you can just see the line about 4" above the corner of the fender
Looks good and nice job, but noticed that they did not sell the full hood bra I think it would be nice to have it seemless. Also do you know if it is 3M or ventura material?
I used the Venture material. Looks good, we'll see how it holds up. I consider it a disposable item anyway so if it gets beat up I will peel it off and replace it.
You guys make me laugh with all the criticisms. If I had wanted a full piece I would have put one on.
I posted this up because I have seen so many threads where guys say it is impossible to do. It is not and it is fairly easy. No magic P -car voodoo involved, as usual.
Sorry you felt there was so much criticism. Last time I checked "Nice job means just that "as a compliment"? I was looking for a full for my hood because I would prefer to have it seemless on the hood which I was hoping I could get an answer to, however I researched it and found out it seems they do not sell that option.
Looks great and kudos for tackling it yourself! My car came in good shape so I went with partial hood and the full bumper. It took a while to find someone willing to tackle the bumper, but it turned out great! Funny, I asked one installer if she had done a 996 bumper, and she said that was her final test for her graduation from the course! Ventureshield is great for the bumper, as it is more flexible than the original 3M film (3M bought Ventureshield a while ago, but I think both are still offered)
I have had mine on for 2 years now, which includes 2 MN winters with sand/salt. Still looks great. I went partial in the front so I could still wax most of the hood . . .
I wax mine, too. You can really tell when the wax has worn off a section (like scrubbing with magic eraser) far more so than on paint. Not necessarily every time I wax the car, though.
that is part of the issue with a full hood treatment, while the 'clear' bra is clear it is not optical grade clear. It is no substitute for clear coat paint.
