Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will an 11" rim with ET45 + 295/30 tire fit aggressively lowered car with neg camber? With/without fender roll? TIA

POST 2Original post

nope. way too agressive. As a point of reference, the stock wheel on my GT3 was 11" et63. So imagine running those wheels in your picture with an 18mm spacer!

FWIW.... those are wide body specs.... turbo or c4s.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. After memorizing 993 offset, widths, then 964 I've now to learn all the 996 iterations- especially for track application. Let me re-phrase; what sort of offset should I be looking at for an 11" rim with a 295-315/30 tire?

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 6839242

like what dell said.... gt3's run 18x11 et 63... they will fit 996 narrow bodies.

POST 8Original post

+1 ET63 and that's as wide as you really want to go on a Narrowbody with an 11 inch wheel FYI 315/30 will be a little tall, might rub. You'd want to be at 315/25 to be closer to stock RD, but if for track application go narrower unless you're making a lot more power than stock (supercharged/turbocharged)

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Making a little more- but not that much more. 305/30? Thx.

POST 10Original post

Quotes source post: 6839801

nope 305/25 is optimal... you need to keep the radius as close to 25" as possible. But IMHO... 295 is the way to go. Cheaper, lighter and more abundant. 305/25 are almost non existant. more pics on the spec 996... would love to know more about it!
