Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, did something stupid. I took out the MAF and cleaned it up today. I got distracted for a bit by a snake in the driveway and now I forget what the orientation of the MAF is. Notch down or up?

POST 2Original post

The screws only line up one way IIRC you can't mount it the wrong way unless you don't fasten the screws.

POST 3Original post

I think the screws are offset so it only goes in one way.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was able to tighten it down so I guess I got it back in right. Thanks guys!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am not sure what kind of snake it was. I was too busy running in the opposite direction to conduct an interview with it. I really don't like snakes. There I was, minding my own damn business, and this thing just appeared on the driveway. I made my way to the garden hose and shooed it off into the yard. A shovel was the appropriate device to end the problem. I only hope it suffered greatly. Do you want pics of the snake or the car? Car is a 2000 C2, arctic silver. Snake was an unknown make and model but was brown.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

LOL...this was actually an IMS and RMS issue. The IMS required an RMS (repeated mechanic strike) with the shovel.

POST 13Original post

In the future you should know that you can order a device that alerts you to IMSB(innocent meandering snake behavior). They are available for order.
