Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

That being said, those are two changes I think I'd really enjoy.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It was a perfect day. Here's the 996 after my day in the country. I can't even explain my obsession with this car.
FYI - I'm not interested in lowering the car or clear turn signals yet.
Bob
The sweet spot for me consists of the following elements:
- A winding, smooth country road with some great scenery
- Temperature around 65 degrees
- Sunroof open and windows down
- Cruising speed around 50-55 mph
- A great rock song (personally, some Tom Petty, Jason Mraz, Eagles, Zeppelin, etc.)
I started out this afternoon expecting to be out for about 45 minutes and ended up driving for twice that time - just kept going because it was so perfect/scenic.
There's still sunlight. I'm going to do it again!
Hey, chsu74. Do you have a picture of the 3 spoke wheel you're suggesting? I'd love to see it. And what is an SSK?
Thanks for the compliment, Barn 996, 914helo, Charlie C, ls911 and tooloud10.
BillH1963, I'm in Winston-Salem frequently for work. How about a cup of coffee over Porsches some time?
Bob...we need to pick a day for the cary/apex group drive!!
Just came back from Dallas....was driving my brother's 650i all weekend.....its no 911 but I did like the sport mode on it!!
As far as the amberectomy, my only comment would be that I find it unusual that the car already had the rear taillights and front headlight signals changed to clear but not the side markers which are the easiest and cheapest to do!! Personally, I just like them all amber or all clear..either is fine looking to me. I WILL also say that the clear (really "smokey") ones I got from Pelican are almost the same color as my Seal Gray, which looks very nice, IMHO, once you change out the egg yolk bulbs.
saturday in seattle would've been a perfect day to drive (upper 70s and sunny which is insane here), but instead i drove my **** to urgent care for alcohol poisoning (long story) and was vomitting for most of the weekend.
glad someone got to enjoy their weather in their 911 in their neck of the woods.
Here is the pic of 3 spoke and also shows how little travel of the shift is in second gear. This is something you realize the value everytime you drive it.
three spoker is a must. that four spoke looks so dated like it came out of a 1997 passat.
getting the leather stitched center airbag piece also makes the wheel look much better. i'd personally opt for the thicker option euro wheel from carnewal.
good stuff ,,, glad you had a blast ! Still enjoying my sunday drives ,,, only thing that worries me down here in the lowcountry is the deer ... Infestation !
I have 5 "kills" in my old pick up :O
My sister lives in Apex ,,, may be time to ride up that way for a visit .
take care all ~
I like the idea of the three spoke wheel and the short shift kit, but not the time/money needed for a change that isn't really necessary.
That being said, those are two changes I think I'd really enjoy.
Desidon, the Saturday drive idea is in the works - more to come at our next Bean & Bagel social.
Bob
Ben, glad to hear you're OK.
Perry, great point about the front & rear lights on my 996. You're the second person to point that out. I'm really drawn to the clear or smokey colored 3rd brake light.
