To answer your question, I always change the fluid at half of the maintances interval require.

I did it by following from someone's instruction that posted yesterday. How much oil did you put for the tranny? Manuel said 3 quart. When I pumped just right about reaching 3 quart of oil (est. 2.9 quart) into the lower hole of the tranmission, some oil began spilling out from the lower hole. Is that the sign of MAXIUM???? The upper hole is smaller and harder to refill oil, so I used the lower one instead. Here is the picture of the tranmission drain, check and fill plug's location. To answer your question, I always change the fluid at half of the maintances interval require. Manuel said 90,000 miles. Mine reach 43,000 miles. Old habit.
