Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I heard a pse yesterday without cut off switch and it sounded great. He said with the cut off switch the sound dies out beyond 3500 rpm and didn't install it. Is that true? The dealer said the install cost is 340 without switch and 1200 with switch. Has anyone heard the Fabspeed in comparison. I know it is less expensive and if I didn't use the cut off switch, it seems like it may be a better way to go as long as it sounds as good. Thanks for your opinion.
It's all a matter of taste. I had the Fabs and switched over to the PSE. IMO, the PSE sounds better throughout the rev range.
Fabs are quality pieces that are lower in price and lighter in weight. They sound more throaty on the 3.6 compared to the PSE. They may drone a bit in the low 3-3.5K rev range in a coupe. They sounded great in my cab.
PSE has more bark to it, and it's a factory part. I do, however, question the long term durability of the valve assembly within the mufflers. I had my first PSE set replaced due to faulty internals (rattling).
You may gain a
little
on the top end with a system like the Fabs. There may have been a little flat spotting on the low end with the Fabs.
If you go PSE, forget the electronics. Just install the mufflers and enjoy the sound... unless, of course, you have "courtesy" issues!
BTW, without the electronics, the PSE is a straightforward install that you can do yourself or with some buds at your garage party.
Either one will be great. I have GHL because they offered a killer price and I have been very satisfied with them. I have been told the GHL is a little quiter than both Fabspeed or PSE. I sure that both will work perfect for your car its more of a matter of taste for the sound of each. BTW you can install either by yourself it only takes an hour. There are instructions if you do a search here. The electronics is a big hassel and waste of money unless you like to have it quite every now and then (or picky neighbors).
