Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Today was THE day my son and I installed our new SpeedArt mufflers.
Leading evidence: 'Install speedart mufflers' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install speedart mufflers' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Finally, after hours of staring out the window like a dog, UPS arrived
Today was THE day my son and I installed our new SpeedArt mufflers. The sound is fantastic, no regrets.
It took about 4 hours via lifting the rear one side at a time (did not remove wheels/bumper).
W/out the help of Rennlisters this would have been a real pain in the ***. I had great instructions and a sweet diagram (my thanks to Tim for that).
Our maiden voyage was nothing short of sensory overload. The transformation amazing. Will take some getting used to this mod, LOVE IT!
Inside the cab- Cruising speed is perfect, not very loud at all, can hold a regular conversation. Give it gas and it turns exotic right now
Outside- Well.....stand back MF'ers
The mufflers look just like stock but polished. Each weighs in at 14.8 lbs, 7lbs lighter than stock. Fitment like stock as well
The short but sweet sound clip only gives it only so much justice but it is close and one can get the idea. A before is included to give a perspective of sound quality...not to far from actual.
I must add that my boy took the short clips and was of great assistance to me

Thanks Don and you're welcome
Stock sound is very tame, disappointing to me, but do love the 996 engine sound!
I was very glad and relieved the mufflers did not block that out.
ha ha!
thats awesome!! I hope your son appreciates you.
When I was a kid my dad had cool cars and thats one of the things I remember most about him. Oh yeah... he was a good man!
tw
I'm sure he was...
My father loves cars but never really had anything nice until after I moved out. The only car memories I have are cramped in VW bugs
He is 16 (17 in October) Mechanically inclined and 996 motivated, ha.
He will get his license after school is out/finds a job.
Still learning to work that stick, I'm ralking about the shifter on our 4Runner
Thanks guys...you too Mother
Appreciate it.
Red calipers/silver hats will conclude my mods for this year, as well as page one
Thank you.
I got these at GMP Performance while on sale for $1350 shipped, a great price!
The sale has ended and they are now asking the reg $2000+ for the pair.
They can be found for $1700-1800 on other sites.
BTW they are made in Germany, like FVD (annother fine choice IMO) That was a preference for me on the many choices to be had.
If interested I can supply a contact name and he might be able to honor the sale price, who knows.
On the list for sure but I need to cool off a bit.
Need new back tires + wife is starting to keep track on what I am spending on my addiction. She thinks it should be equal equal, so the costs of mods could potentially double...what nerve
She clearly does not understand that I have a disease.
I need buy her flowers, that should take care of things
Very Nice! Thanks for capturing the before and after. You know that your gas bill just went up...no more cruising at low rpm, you'll want to hear the full scale all the time!
Enjoy.
Your Welcome!
I was glad to post it especially since I could only find one audio clip on SpeedArt
You're right on the gas bill
THanks
Yes or better as Ben stated.
Audio only goes so far...you will not be disappointed
