Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What's the average cost on having the seat backs painted to match the exterior color? Are the painted seatbacks available at bumperplugs? Thanks much.

POST 2Original post

Looks like they do: "See some ideas here. We finish ALL plastic and rubber parts to a factory matched, durable finish. This includes rocker panels, helmets, brackets, supports, seat hardware, just about anything you can imagine, we can produce!" and "Quoted Price" I don't know what the prices are since mine came with the car.

I used to have a set of factory seats with painted backs, but had to repaint due to someone scratching it. I picked a custom silver color and the job cost me $500 for both seats at a reputable local shop here in Kirkland, WA. This includes labor to removing/reattaching the plastic back. I almost did this chrome color (my car is arctic silver), but it ended up costing too much and the results weren't guaranteed perfect the first time around meaning variable cost (upwards).

POST 4Original post
