Both companies are nearly the same in cost, coverage, and respect by dealers (ease of use).

I photoshopped the other using the RTFM as a starting point but it was not annimated.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

and looking at a few different extended warranties for my 60k mile 99 996. 1 is a company called preferred sold by a local high-end used car lot where i live and the other is total value protection which is sold by the dealer in chicago where i purchased the car. has anyone had any dealings with either company OR have any companies they would recommend for a 1-2 year extended warranty
Oh Boy....gotta go get me some
If you do a search....you'll find quite a few threads on this.
Best of luck....I don't have one so i can't chime in.....
I can't sit back and watch tbe blood. Sorry.
Look up on any porsche board for the following names:
Warranty Direct
Continental Warranty
Both companies are nearly the same in cost, coverage, and respect by dealers (ease of use). There are no other places that you would or should be talking to. Both of these companies have deep pockets and solid underwriters.
Yes it is! I photoshopped the other using the RTFM as a starting point but it was not annimated. While the new one is not annimated wither it is a true smiley that I made on a smiley web site.
Easy Care (backed by Ford) sucks. The would not fix my 996 correctly and would only put a band-aid on it. Their response was if it breaks again we will cover it again, non the less it was not a Porshce approved repair.
i'd localize as much as possible with aftermarket warranties. meaning go to your local porsche dealer and ask if they sell it because if they sell it, likely they'll treat you better than going to a greg at warranties4less.
this is what i did. and don't assume aftermarket warranties work the same as factory warranties. some do, some don't. the one i bought does. you bring the car in with an issue and it needs fixing. if the warranty company is a good one, they'll let you get started with the work straight away. whereas some dealers/warranty companies will make u wait till the warranty company sends a guy out to verify everything before they proceed with the repair.
think deeper than what you read online.
