I recall reading here that for some reason (unknown to me) C4 cars suffer this strange quirk (sorry, but I needed to use a "Q" word in honor of your new keyboard) with only half filling the gas tank.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
Well, I called Dell after my power cord went bad again, and it turns out I'm still under warranty. Well, when I told them I was missing a few buttons, they said no problem. Within one day, they sent a tech out and replaced my keyboard. It took all of 5 minutes. Had I known that was possible, I would have replaced it a long time ago. It really is so simple. Tech said a new keyboard runs about 10 bucks, not sure what they retail for.
So, my Q button is back...quite nice to type in quantity and quality with my q button.
Since I now have my left shift key again, it's gonna take me a bit to learn how to type properly again. I've been hitting caps lock to get a capital and then unlock over and over. What a pain that was.
Anyhow, not that anyone really cares, and Tim is no longer lurking daily. I'm sure he'd be proud of me. And I love my C4S more and more....now I'm on topic. Also, when I don't fill up my car, the gas guage doesn't budge. Nor does the computer. It only adjusts properly when I fill the tank...anyone else have this issue? Now it really is a technical thread.
Best,
J
JB,
Jeeze! How many times did I tell you to get the fixed??? I guess I should have used the same phrase I use on the newbies.
Come on, get the !@#$%^&* keyboard fixed!
Maybe that would have pushed you over the edge sooner. BTW I was "cue-uite" (a.k.a quite) surprised when I saw your post.
OK, now down to business. I recall reading here that for some reason (unknown to me) C4 cars suffer this strange quirk (sorry, but I needed to use a "Q" word in honor of your new keyboard) with only half filling the gas tank. The same symptoms were mentioned in a thread about a year ago and a few C4/C4S guys verified it. I am pretty sure that Phil G. was not one of them, because he hasn't driven his car enough yet to have to refuel it.
That's some funny stuff Tim. Interesting about the quirk....yes, I can type quirk now. It's normally not a pain, but I live by the NJ border and fill up there most of the time since it's about 40-50 cents cheaper per gallon. But when I put a few bucks in to get me thru the day or weekend, I get lost on knowing what's in the tank. Oh well. Not the end of the world. qqqqqqqqqqqqqq.....that's fun.
haha.
