This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Don't worry about the low miliage keeping the engine from running 100%.
Leading evidence: 'Run 100%' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run 100%' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

v8huntr,
If you are planning on selling your car, I'd be interested.
Please e-mail me some pictures and tell me a little about the car, including what price you've decided to ask. Also, where are you located?

that is VERY low mileage, low enough to make some people worry
thats an average of 1000 miles per year, sure low mileage is good for resale, but this is low enough to perhaps cause the engine to not be 100%
it is orginial miles. car has low miles because car is parked most of times. i have three other cars which i drive daily and i do not like to put miles on my porsche. plus car looks good in my garage where i don't have to worry about it.
Don't worry about the low miliage keeping the engine from running 100%. That's just a farse. I would demand top dollar for the car. Be patient. I wouldn't settle for less than $48 -$50,000 especially if you have the orginal intake, etc.. Good luck.
I have a Artic silver 2000 996 w/ factory aero pkg. ,sport exhaust, turbo twists,Artic silver console, hi-fi sound, concours winner, 5,600 mi. , no rain ,smoke, paint work etc. that I put on the PCA site 2 days ago for $46k.I've had a half-dozen responses but a gentleman who called me today was talking approx $42,000.I thought I would puke.I am in Ohio however, and it will likely be snowing soon.Right or wrong...I don't make enough money to be able to afford to lose that much money.Hell,I have $40,000 in my 87 turbo.
RJMDAD996-Thanks for the response.I'll try to post a pic w/ the ad.I'm thinking of selling because I also have an 85 Carrera and a 87 930, and insufficient time to drive all 3( Ohio weather doesn't help either).
I just traded in my 2000 C2 Coupe which had 7,700 miles, Fabspeed Headers and Exhaust, Unichip, Evo Cold Air-Intake, and GT3 Aero Kit. Dealer gave me $ 40,000. I shopped it around the wholesale market and that was the best. Retail I could probably get high 40's. Market for these cars slows down at this time of year.
