Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
The TT's are probably a good way to progress from DE towards racing.
Leading evidence: 'good way' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'good way' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Run 8 sessions' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
If possible if you want more track time why don't you do both Group 3/4(pay $149 for group 3 extra) and run 8 sessions for $300?

I be running Sunday only with group 3 but in my "ugly black duck" mk1 GTI(my 996 is getting fixed up).
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone done NASA's Time Trial competition/DE event yet?
For those of you that haven't heard of it, its basically a DE event, with timed laps. Only your best lap of the day counts, fastest lap times win. You compete with other cars in your class, and everyone in all classes is on the track at once.
I think its pretty new, and it sounds like lots of fun. If I'm going to do the DE, and since its the same price, why not get timed and compete with the other guys?
I just signed up for the TT event at Infineon (Sears Point) for the 25th of this month.
Anyone have any tips, feedback or other info.?
I did one of their HPDE and a racing school. They ran a good event, a little more laid back than the PCA events which can be quite ****. The TT's are probably a good way to progress from DE towards racing. I think they space the cars out and run they by a qualifying speed so you are effectively alone for your TT runs.
Which day are you going DP35? Both days are just Saturday? I be running Sunday only with group 3 but in my "ugly black duck" mk1 GTI(my 996 is getting fixed up). Regards. Mike
I've gone to about 6 Nasa events mainly Group 3 but did Sear's Point with group 1 since it was my 1st time there and it is slow but needed to learn the coarse. I never found it to be as bad as people say. There's alot of things to see ie races and starting times wasn't delayed like maybe 10-15 minutes. If possible if you want more track time why don't you do both Group 3/4(pay $149 for group 3 extra) and run 8 sessions for $300? I need to ask NASA if that's possible. Too bad I won't see you maybe next time when my 996 gets fixed up. Regards. Mike
