Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The window was a bit dirty, so would it just be a matter of washing it back to smooth, clean glass?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was very hot and I was parked outside all day. When I got in the car and tried to roll the window down it was very slooooow. I noticed that the gasket at the bottom seemed to be rubbing against the window more than usual and even started to fold over as the window slooowly went down. I figure it was something related to the heat, rolled it back up and left it alone until I got home. At home, I tried again (car was much cooler) and it was still slow. Anyone know what's going on? Will this go away? The window was a bit dirty, so would it just be a matter of washing it back to smooth, clean glass?

POST 2Original post

The dirt will create friction and fold the rubber seal as it goes down. Wash your car!

POST 3Original post

And wax the windows, it stops that for a while.
