Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

youcan correct some of it with camber but it just looks like you have the wrong offset in the rear wheels, especially using a 19" wheel.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have 19"x11" with 295/30/19 wheels on the back of my C2, and I want to lower the car with some PSS9s that i have. Only problem is that I think the rear of the car will rub on the wheel since it is such a perfect fit, there isnt much room for suspension travel w/o rubbing right? I am thinking about lowering about an inch or 1.25 inch. Anyone have a lowered C2 w/ wheels this size? Does the car rub? I am worried about rolling the fenders as I have heard that the paint can peel off when you do this. Pics of my car & wheel fitament. Looks too high!

POST 2Original post

I actually have the same w/t set up and had the car lowered. It does not rub because when you drop the car the rear wheels turn in at the top just a little. Works Perfectly!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the info mwhitfld911! These wheels are made for the 997 C2.

POST 4Original post

tires size isnt the issue, its wheels offset....from the look of it...you may have problems....I have 997 C2 wheels but the factory offsets are 67 in the rear.....it looks like those are a more aggressive offset, like 55? If so, you will have problems.....check it out first.

POST 5Original post

as newport said, offset is your issue. youcan correct some of it with camber but it just looks like you have the wrong offset in the rear wheels, especially using a 19" wheel.
