Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

... my wife gave me Bumper Plufs and a Door Plug for my birthday today... I guess this is the first mod on my car... looks much better (she also gave me the RemoteTop... see next post). Thanks Eric!! - For those of you who have the Bumper Plugs, how loose do they fit? Mine are quite loose... probably 2 mm of space between plug head and bumper, and they move around freely...

POST 2Original post

I did the same combo, except my plugs are "tight!" One of the best mini-mods for the price IMO.

POST 3Original post

Wrap your plug ends with electrical or duct tape. Tha's what I had to do with my plugs for my 993.

POST 4Original post

Eric says they are supposed to be loose so flexing of the bumper against the plugs will not rub off paint. The loose fit is by design. The guy is addicted to the details. God bless him.

POST 5Original post

Not loose....should be up against the bumper. Turn the cap 1/4 turn to see if it will cinch up. If not, call or email me, or come by with the car and we'll get a new set in there. They should fit flush, but be able to spin in the hole, but not out from the hole at all. And when you come by, we can get you a set of clear sidemarkers too.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Eric, I will probably stop by one of these days... would be great to meet you and see the person behind the plugs!

POST 7Original post

Good call on the clear side markers. Should call CNN and have them run a story on those. NO ONE should have orange side markers... except where required by law... your results may vary... professional driver on closed course... I think my meds are wearing off.

POST 8Original post

Absolutely agree Especially with a dark paint!

POST 9Original post

I guess I should update my avatar with a pic with the clears!!!

POST 10Original post

Kirk - yeah, that would be a good idea. That pun'kin look is hurting my eyes! Just kidding!
