Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

I just feel that this is such a solid machine that I can (and will) use everyday.
Leading evidence: 'Use everyday' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use everyday' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The majority of posts I've read on this or any car forum for that matter have to do with problems and paranoia. Well I am going to let everyone know that my car is simply awesome! Today was the first day since I bought my 996 a few months ago that I have been able to spend a day
DRIVING
her. Started with the twisties, headed through some sraights, and ended up at a winery. The best part about the whole thing was that my wife, although white knuckled at times, had a blast. I thought that maybe it was time for everyone to step aside from RMS, MAF, and other small problems that people generally seek out internet info for and let the happiness out. I am one happy owner not looking back except to see the rubber I left behind. Just tickled, thank you 996!
Did the same today too! Drove it all day and my wife was enjoying the experience as well. I just feel that this is such a solid machine that I can (and will) use everyday.
Same here. Drove from Cincinnati to Knoxville and had a ball. There are some fun roads if you get off I-75. US25W from Williamsburg, KY to Lake City, TN is a nice example.
Since she came out of the shed I've been taking the long way to work and home, and looking for errands to run. It's a revalation for my wife since I'm willing to head to town at the drop of the hat. Can't wait for the first DE event at watkins.
ya gotta take it to the track! i think anyone who doesn't take their porsche out to the track, at least once, is doing a grave injustice to the make
just this past weekend at thunderhill w/ NASA
Yesterday the wife and I took a drive to see one of her friends at some huge crawfish boil. We couldn't find her friend, and it was very crwded so we left. As we were leaving the wife says "it doesn't matter it is fun to take the car out anyway". I agree.
