Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could email me the options list for the 1999 996. Thanks. [email removed]

POST 2Original post

there were hundreds of options, nobody is going to mail you a complete list. I suggest you head over to www.renntech.org and check out the options section.

POST 3Original post

I emailed you a pdf Porsche Options list. It doesn't have everything, but most are on there. It is also not specific to 911's but again, you should be able to figure it out. hope it helps...

POST 4Original post

alrighty, and M Fig has gone and made a liar of me I didn't know such a list existed in one place. It's quite the extensive list, the possible amount of customization for our cars is sick, maybe pcna should just go and make a lot more stuff standard

POST 5Original post

Lowside, I didn't make a complete lier out of you...it's not a complete list. the list has many options on it but not ALL options.

POST 6Original post

waht is going on with your roof Mark??? Did you fix it?

POST 7Original post

The problem isn't the options; it's what the hell some of the options mean. I remember going to the Porsche custom car configurator and was very often confused by the difference between some options...and their descriptions for that matter!

POST 10Original post

Can you send me one too? New address: [email removed] Was navigation offered in the '99? I've seen one with it and it appeared built in, but another dealer says it wasn't offered unitil 2001 or so, so must be an aftermarket. --Steve

POST 11Original post

PCM1 was offered in MY99 (as well as MY00). I can even show you service bulletins from April 1999 for software updates. Some of the early units were replaced with an upgraded unit that had improved software in early 2000. These units are very difficult to retrofit and most folks just go for aftermarket units.
