I just hate to pay for a system check only to find that it is the way it should be.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I replaced the battery today with the Diehard 48. 996 seems to start better and runs fine. The only thing is that the voltage guage seems to bounce a little, not much just slightly. I do not recall it doing that before; however, I also have had a bad battery for some time. Has anyone else noticed this?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well I only put 5 miles on the car yesterday so it was hard to tell. I drove the car for about 20 today and the car appears to run fine; however, the voltage needle is at about 13.9 when the car is moving and does not seem to move, even if I am coasting (good thing). When the car comes to a complete stop it bounce between 13.7 and 13.9. When I turn on the Lits it drops to about 13.2 and instantly comes back up. I ran the Lits and the stereo, plus interior lights and nothing seemed to dim. Does the neddle movement sound normal?

POST 3Original post

Same thing happens in my 02. Had a new battery installed and was told that it was normal depending on the load. Hope this helps!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. I just hate to pay for a system check only to find that it is the way it should be.
