I think that's BS, $8,500 is probably a stealer fantasy BS price for the suckers that have the dealer add wheels to a car.

They look nice but they are not stock, if you like that design I would recommend GT3 type design which you can find on ebay for under $2000 with tires here is an example on the German Ebay site:

A good set of high end rims (HRE, Champion, Kinesis) is going to run around $4-5K.

Suggestion
If you want Porsche factory rims, you can probably find a new or near new set with tires for around $2K on ebay - lots of new takeoffs for sale from new cars where the buyer upgraded to aftermarket at the time of purchase.

Yeh, that won't work for me in this case though. I am planning to buy a car from a dealer, and the car has (according to the dealer) $8500 rims. They are really ugly, and I don't want them, so he said he would order me stock ones and reduce the price of the car.....
So, I need to find out exactily what I want, so I can tell him what to order me......

Yesterday, I realized I misplaced the key to my wheel locks. I was at their shop at 7 o'clock sharp this morning and they had my problem fixed and got me back on the road by 7:20!!! If I was dealing with a dealer, I'm sure I wouldn't have had my problem solved so quickly. They got me out of a real jam for very little out of pocket expense. They're friendly, very knowledgable, and run a very professional operation. I bought tires and wheels from them on several occasions and I've had nothing less than 100% satisfaction with each experience. Sometimes they have the best price, sometimes they don't. But you won't get better service from anywhere else.

again these are not stock but aftermarket copies that are TUV approved (ie good quality) and no I do not own these or have anything to do with the person selling them nor do I know the weight ie this is just an example.

The HRE C21's you linked are very nice, also very expensive (I think they are around $1,200-$1,500 per rim).
If you want Porsche factory rims, you can probably find a new or near new set with tires for around $2K on ebay - lots of new takeoffs for sale from new cars where the buyer upgraded to aftermarket at the time of purchase. I think one of the ebay sellers who seems reliable is "porschewheelguy", usually has a lot of listings (never bought from them).
Wheel Enhancement also has used wheels but would be a little more expensive. However, they are local and I have done business with them for 10 years+, and they are a great and reliable shop.
I like the 02' Carrera 5 Spokes aswell, not in polished chrome, maybe in brushed aluminum, but where can I tell the dealer to order them and order tires to they could be on the car by like, wednesday?
