Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The only stipulation from mine is that it had an oil change within the last 6 months, but I am still under factory warranty.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've got about 12 months and 37k miles left on the original warranty of my 03 C2 (I think that's right - is the warranty 50k or 60k?). What are my options of extending the warranty for an extra year or two? Can I do it through PAG/PCNA? Is there a way to get the CPO (+2 yr / 100k) warranty? I thought I read people saying most, if not all, 3rd party warranty companies suggested had gone under.
EDIT: This is what I'm talking about.

Since the warranty issue seems to come up a lot, I thought I would relay information I got from a local dealer today. Hennessey (
www.hennesseyporsche.com
) resells an extended warranty from Easy Care (
www.easycare.com)
, which is evidently backed financially by Ford Motor Co. They only sell the Total Care package which covers everything but wear & tear items. They priced out the basic package which is for 3 yrs / 60k miles for $1977. The warranty is honored by all Porsche dealerships nationwide, as well as any ASE certified independent.

Reading the Easycare website it says:
EasyCare vehicle service contracts are available at nearly 1,000 dealers across the United States. EasyCare vehicle service contracts cannot be purchased from Automobile Protection Corporation directly or through this website. We will be happy to refer you to a dealer in your area.
So if I buy a car from a private party, how do I get this warranty??????
You should be able to get it from any local dealer. The only stipulation from mine is that it had an oil change within the last 6 months, but I am still under factory warranty. My guess is that if you are not, some sort of inspection would be the only pre-requisite.
You could probably get one from Hennessey (here in Atlanta) and have them mail you the paperwork if your local dealer does not sell them. For info, call Michael Caldwell @ [phone removed]. I just spoke with him this morning.
