Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Interestingly, the dealer also had a 997 C4 which had an "S" logo mistakenly installed on the engine cover.

I don't expect to receive one either as my Porsches have all been used ones which means I'm not even on their radar.

mine is only a year old - can't see swapping out this fast unless they change their trade in pricing policy 180 degrees!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i just got a neat little package from PCNA regarding the new C4 and C4S. Great couple of little booklets and an MP3 player with interviews of a couple of 997 designers.
kids are already fighting over the MP3 part!
anyone else received one of these?
I don't expect to receive one either as my Porsches have all been used ones which means I'm not even on their radar.
Incidentally, I just took a quick look at a new 997 C4S at my local dealer. Nice piece...black/sand beige w/ PSE. Love those wide bodies. I'm still happy with my '04 especially after seeing the $102k sticker.
Interestingly, the dealer also had a 997 C4 which had an "S" logo mistakenly installed on the engine cover.
I received mine yesterday, I'v had 7 porsches and all of them were used, you can call PCNA and I'm sure they would send you one, Did you ever fill out the change of ownership registration card in the back of the service book that comes with the car?
May I inquire to those who got the 997 C4S how much was sticker? Saw one at dealer stickered at $103k MSRP. Didn't check what options it had but man they are getting pricey these days. Regards. Mike
Mike,
Thanks for the heads up. Got my 996 a couple of weeks ago from a dealer with a CPO warranty. I would expect that eventually I'll end up in their database as a registered owner. If my dealer can't confirm this, I'll send in the card anyway as you suggest.
996FLT6,
I didn't note all of the options of the one I saw with a $102k sticker. I think the base prices are $77k for the C4 and and $87k for the C4S which seems reasonable. For comparison, my '04 C4S based at $84k and, with a few options, ended up at $90k.
i woudln't rely on the dealership to actively communicate with PCNA to let them know you are a new member. Just call 1-800-PORSCHE and tell them your VIN and you're set. Even though I have 2 porsches, they think I have 4 as I never bothered to tell them that I've sold the other 2. I wonder how high I can get that number up to???
