Gonna be trading old blue in on a new 997 C4S. Making a deal this week, not sure about the time frame yet, will have a bunch of 996/C4S stuff to sell, I'm sure. Just got the itch for a new car.
My 996 C4S has been the best, most reliable car that I have ever owned. 40K worth of daily driving in all weather, tracking , redlining etc. Zero problems, once had a RMS scare, turned out not to be, radio was replaced under warranty, I really can't complain. Just hope the new one can live up to 'ole blue!
Sad to hear, Chris, the 996 C4S is a beauty... But the 997 is definitely a step up
I'm sure the 997 will live up to your 996 plus more (hopefully
). What color/options did you end up getting? Congrats again...
Congrats!!
I agree about the C4S reliability, car has been rock solid. Really wish the 997 C4S retained the wrap around reflector it makes a huge difference.
Rob
Basalt Black on Black, have to wait two months though.
I like the looks of the 996 C4S better myself, but just ready for a new car, 3yrs 40K, I had a good run. Not sure I'd want a 996 off warranty even though mine has been flawless.
Will be selling x73, oem ssk, GHL's, clear sides, teq bar, sport cups on turbo twists, snow tires on knockoffs, rennline pedals...
When the deal is finalized I'll place an add.
You can use your snow tires/wheels on the 997. The smaller the Wheel the better it is in the snow.
I was thinking of putting on 17" myself but have all ready invested in another set of 18"
I would be interested in the x73 and rennline pedals, pm me later when your ready.
Congrats Chris!...Thats awsome, and I am sure you will still be around, doesnt matter what you drive, I bet the 996 forum is where you will be hanging out....Allot of us have become friends on here, and I know a little 997 wont let you forget about your friends!!
man, they are dropping like flies
. oh well, some one sells a 996 and there's always someone who will become a 996 nooB. just wondering who, of the regulars here, will be one of the last hold-outs/996 die hards (maybe me
).
congrats and see you somewhere on rennlist.
