I actually used the old rubber gasket from the gold hood crest since it was already stretched out and fit better than the new one.

I am replacing a dented in hood badge from a previous owner that did not know how to close the lid without pressing on the badge. I know that the badge is held on by two sleeves, but how do you remove them? I assume they are a one-time only use correct? Also, should I replace the rubber gasket while I have it apart? Finally, anyone have the correct part numbers handy? Thanks, Pat

I replaced my gold hood crest with a silver hood crest. The silver hood crest came with the fasteners and rubber gasket. I actually used the old rubber gasket from the gold hood crest since it was already stretched out and fit better than the new one. You have to replace the fasteners.
