Hi, I've been looking at this board a lot since I recently bought my '99 996 and have found it extremely helpful. I've tried searching the archives but haven't found any posts about cleaning the interior of the headlight housing. There are what appear to be water stains in one of my xenon headlight housings, right behind the plastic cover, I'm wondering if there's a way to open the headlight to clean it. One suggestion I've received is to remove all the electronics from the light and rinse with soapy water, but I have no idea how to remove all the electronics. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
