After doing some further research, it appears that the 2001 cluster can and is replaced with 2002 up, but a porsche technical bulletin states that the spoiler relay must be changed ( I believe the newer cluster has the control built in) but doesn't look like the 2003 will accept the 2001 cluster.

Question is that I can get a 2001 996tt cluster at a considerable savings over an 03 cluster, but is the 2001 cluster compatible with the 2003 car? They both look the same, but you know how that goes. Any help would be appreciated cheers chris
