Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Excellent Tire, they are not new they have been around now for over 3 years and the "R" version just came out last Spring to replace the regular Trofeo.

Pirelli has its hands full with F1's design requirements and insane testing restrictions.

I think F1 agrees, hence the recent changes to testing rules and restrictions on teams' pressure and camber settings as opposed to rumors of a new tire...sorry

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I would have thought Pirelli would hold off for a month or two for new product releases - but I guess most people don't follow F1, so it probably doesn't matter much in reality.
During the British Grand Prix, five or so drivers had rear tires delaminate at speed. Pirelli took a lot of heat - which they deserved - for this batch of tires.
guys that picture above is of a Trofeo R... its a R-Comp like Mich Cups. Excellent Tire, they are not new they have been around now for over 3 years and the "R" version just came out last Spring to replace the regular Trofeo.
Hey I never said I was rational.

supplier next year. F1's posture toward Pirelli may change and it may be more of the result of other manufacturers' saying "supply F1? PASS" as anything, but there you go.
tl;dr - no.
As much as i agree with you regarding Street Tires, the Trofeo R is a far superior Tire than PS Cups in the Dry, Wet and Life for the Track.
However Toyo R888 beats them all because of Price
Tires with low tread depth like that are always really quiet due to most of the tire's noise being created by tread blocks. That's why tires with huge tread blocks like BFG KDW2s are so loud, but a DOT R-comp like an R1, michelin pilot sport cup, etc are so quiet. The other main noise tires make is a basketball bouncing sound called "cavity noise" which pretty much only tire engineers hear anyways.
