But I make this suggestion to anyone who may have this problem.....You may want to check your rear tire pressure.

Suggestion
I think I would be looking to replacing the other rear shock.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 99 c2 aero 6 speed with 151,000 miles. I have recently been noticing this problem getting worse over the last year and now its to the point the car is getting unstable at a higher speed.
The issue:
When I am cruising and I press the gas the car pulls slightly but noticeable to the left. When I then get off the gas the car come back to center.
BRAKING has no effect. The car has also become a handful to drive as it well "wagon rut" and the slant of the road will also cause the car to pull to the down side of the slant.
Other things I have noticed:
When I stretch the rear suspension the issue seems to get better for a few hundred miles
History
-Brakes new on all 4 corners with rotors
-tire wear is EVEN all the way around however the rears wear more on the inside but are wearing even per-side.
-ONE new left rear shock 3 years ago before the issue started.
-New lower "a" arms or control arms on the front.
-Currently I have a slight rattle in the front. It is the right side drop link to the sway bar. it is so slight that you cant see it, but you can feel it f you hold the sway bar where it connects to the drop link.
What I have done so far:
New motor mounts 6000 Miles ago
Alignment on a hunter rack by a local indy
tonight I put the back end up on jack stands took off the rear wheels. Applied the ebrake. At this point I had a helper in the car and place a load on the drive train. - I noticed nothing unusual. Both side torqued the same about, moved symmetrical... This is where I expected to find a bad trailing link bushing or something.. So now that failed. I GOT NUTTIN!
So there ya go. Where do I go from here?
You say....... -ONE new left rear shock 3 years ago
before the issue started.
I think I would be looking to replacing the other rear shock. Hey that's my guess and only a guess. All the traction coming from the C2 and one new shock maybe shifting the back end slightly to the side under hard acceleration. It looks like you have tried everything else.
I had that same issue just last week. My problem was driver rear tire air pressure low and a nail in it. I agree with Hurdigudiman, the strut damping is uneven on acceleration.
Im not going to tell you what I found to avoid looking like a moron..... But I make this suggestion to anyone who may have this problem.....You may want to check your rear tire pressure. Just sayin... i'v heard as little as 5# can cause this.
Can't speak to this happening under acceleration but under hard braking from high speed my 996 Turbo got downright squirrelly and short version is I checked tire pressures and found the right rear down 5 or 6 psi.
Nail.
