When I was replacing my water pump I saw that a lot of people recommended the Uview Airlift for refilling the coolant.

Currently have myself "almost" convinced to buy a lift, as I already have a compressor, although present compressor (or rather compressors, as I actually have 2) "could" use upgrading, and if upgrading compressor, it would only make sense to get that soda blaster I was looking at, as well as a new 1/4" air ratchet, and if I got the ratchet, I would clearly need some new sockets to go with it........

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I was replacing my water pump I saw that a lot of people recommended the Uview Airlift for refilling the coolant. I checked it out and thought that it didn't make sense to buy a tool that required buying an air compressor to make it work. So I bought an air compressor (Porter Cable) and then it made perfect sense to buy an Airlift tool. Does anyone else suffer from this kind of logic? Aside from the Airlift tool and filling tires, what else can the Romans do for us?

POST 2Original post

I suffer this logic regularly. Wives don't seem to get it.

POST 3Original post

Guilty as well, bought the compressor maybe 6 months ago and have a 4 post lift scheduled for delivery next Friday......definitely a form of addiction!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. That looks like a good accessory.

POST 6Original post

A lift can gain approval easily - it is much safer than jacks & stands.

Been planning on one for past 6 years. Finally got my garage/work shop set up for it. The thought of no more rolling around on the concrete floor when doing general maintenance and repairs is intoxicating......or maybe that's result of the cold stuff stashed away in garage fridge
