Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Over the winter I have completed muerous little projects on the car most of which required the car to have the oil drained out of it or battery removed, IMS Guradian, skid plate, repainted battery tray and a few other things. The A&* end has been up on jack stands for most of the winter so I was always reluctant to start the car. Now I just got the mufflers back and will be ready to fire it up soon. Any thoughts on the procedure I should use. Should I remove fuel pump fuse and turn over a few times to "pump up" oil pressure first before starting and letting is run? Just wondering. Thanks

POST 2Original post

My biggest concern would be the gas. Did you use Sta-bil?

POST 3Original post

Just fire it up. I let many of my cars go months or more at a time with never an issue.

POST 4Original post

Fire it up! Why did you put it on jackstands anyway?
