My Seal Grey C4S Cab has a grey top which I would have written off as...excessive use of grey...but when I saw it I was completely sold.

Hi guys,
after several new england winters and summers in the outside, my top is abraded enough and worn enough that no amount of cleaning and raggtop is enough. In the bright sun the car just looks worn because of the top.
so i'm going with the gahh replacement top.
my car is the factory dark metallic blue, with natural brown interior and the factory top is a metropol blue color.
but as long as i'm replacing my top i'm thinking to change the color as well. with gahh, I have many more color options than the factory blue.
I have wondered what if I went with a brown or reddish color? or what about gray?

A natural brown close match may work, other than that Metropol Blue is your best bet. Any other color will look funky. If you choose reddish brown or grey be sure to wear some of your '80s Patagonia fleeces often to complete the look.
Not kidding! BTW, I have a lot of funky colored Patagonia gear that I mainly wear while climbing or hiking. My wife won't be seen with me wearing it in public. She has no sense of humor, lol.
I like the idea of the brown or tan top to compliment your interior. My C4 cab is Savannah and Black exterior. On the other hand, keeping a lighter color top clean is a pain...

With a Metropol Blue exterior I'd go with a blue, beige, or black top...in that order. Grey will look off...especially with a brown interior. Too many colors. Beige kinda sorta matches the interior. It, at least, keeps to the brown theme and should be complementary. I know people say black goes with everything (and arguably it does) but with a brown interior I'm not sure it's the best match. It's like wearing a black belt and brown shoes.

Have you tried Renovo Color Reviver? It did an amazing job on my wife's Volvo C70's convertible top.
If replacing, I'd recommend staying with Dark Blue.
