Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I don't think it changed the torque/HP balance much either.
Leading evidence: 'Replace torque/hp balance much either' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace dead stockers' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Suggestion
I did change my spark plugs/coil packs near the same time, and the combined effect was that she pulls stronger than ever.

Suggestion
xpipe style) and price (1000+ difference between cheapest and most expensive) between all and I don't think one can say one is better than the other unless they use a really crappy 200 cell.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There's several companies that have 200 cell cats for the 996. 5-6 at least. I believe fabspeed switched over the HJS cats now. I'm not sure who NHP uses. There's different design(factory like vs. xpipe style) and price (1000+ difference between cheapest and most expensive) between all and I don't think one can say one is better than the other unless they use a really crappy 200 cell.
I would also check out FVD... IMO they are built better than FS because of the extra reinforcement at the "x" area. They both use HJS cats... a motorsport shop in DE.
Dont get fabspeed their aftersales/warranty service is garbage to none at all, cant belive these people do business... Get FVD its a bit more $$$ but they will give you 5 year warranty on the Cats compare to Fabspeed's 2 year... Im never buying anything fabspeed again definatly... AWE is good aswell and have excellent aftersales/warranty service
When I was looking for 200 cells for 996 NA a while back...there were FVD, fabspeed, ztec, speedtech, alderflow, awe and NHP. There's many choices/prices out there so just do your research well....I really don't know how much of a difference there is between them though either
BTW the 996's had different location for the O2 sensors....I'm pretty sure most companies selling them has 1 size fits all O2 sensor location...the NHP seems like it tried to solve that problem with 3 holes and you can block one location and just use the 2.....I have a different company 200 cell and my O2 sensor wire is a little short so I had to reroute the wires..
mine's a 99 and the post cat O2 sensor is very downstream from the cat.....I know the later year 996's had the 2ndary O2's more closer to the cats
I got FabSpeed cats to replace my dead stockers. It didn't add much to the noise level of the car. I don't think it changed the torque/HP balance much either. I did change my spark plugs/coil packs near the same time, and the combined effect was that she pulls stronger than ever.
I think that the combined package of intake/exhaust mods all working together has added a great deal to the car. Both in terms of auditory pleasure and in terms of getting-glued-into-the-seat acceleration.
All based on butt dyno haha....I think it'll depend on mufflers also....I have fisterd's...
sound...increase about 20% if that...in a good way
power delivery...slightly better pull mid to top range
decrease in torque...torque band appears similar to before...not pushed up like straight pipes....
I'd definately do it again
BTW mine is not the xpipe design...same as stock like pipes
Just did mine...my noise level didn't increase even 20%...unless at WOT. I found my lower end felt better than the top. I'm running stock mufflers though.
Mine is also the Gen 1 design (not pipe)
So far so good...but I've only had mine on for 1 day

Maybe because of the stock mufflers? I know mine was noticable cause the wife asked "where did you go for a couple hours and why is the car louder today?"
